Crochet Washcloth

Crochet washcloth pattern

Materials Needed:

  • Scissors
  • Size I (5.25mm) crochet hook
  • Row markers
  • Yarn needle
  • Yarn (Peaches and Cream brand recommended)
  • Colors used: Pineapple Ombre, Pink Lemonade, Ocean Coral
  • 120 yards, 100% cotton, size medium four weight (calls for 5mm hook, but size I used)

Washcloth Specifications:

  • Foundation chain of 34 chains
  • 17 rows in total
  • Approximate size: 9 in by 9 in

Stitch Pattern - The Tilted Cluster:

Foundation:

  • Make a slip knot and connect it to your crochet hook.

Chain:

  • Chain 34 as your foundation.

Row 1:

  • Single crochet into the 4th chain from the hook.
  • Use a row marker to mark your stitches.

Repeating pattern:

  • Single crochet, chain 3, double crochet 4 together cluster in the next 4 chains.

Subsequent Rows (Rows 2-17):

  • The pattern involves chaining at the beginning, single crocheting into the top of the cluster stitch from the previous row, and creating clusters in the chain spaces from the previous row.
