Materials

  • Medium-weight baby yarn

Toe and Sole

  • Work your first set of Half Double Crochet stitches into the ring.
  • Continue increasing by working two stitches in one until the circle reaches the desired toe width.
  • Stop increasing and work even rounds to form the full sole length.

Foot Body

  • Work one stitch in each stitch around without increasing or decreasing.
  • Continue until the foot is long enough for the heel placement.

Heel Flap and Shaping

  • Chain 1 and turn. Work back and forth across half of the stitches to form the heel flap.
  • Begin decreasing in the center using Single Crochet Two Together to shape the heel.
  • Use slip stitches to join the heel flap edges to the unworked side stitches, closing the heel.

Ankle and Cuff

  • Rejoin yarn and work around the top of the heel and foot opening to form the ankle.
  • Crochet straight rounds for the ankle section.
  • Create a ribbed cuff by working in the Back Loop Only for each row, slip stitching each row to the leg for a stretchy finish.
  • Once the cuff reaches your preferred height, fasten off and weave in all ends.
