Granny Square Construction

- Each square consists of six rows worked in the round:
Round 1
- Start with a magic ring.
- [3 dc, ch 2] repeat 4 times into the ring.
- Slip stitch into the top of the first dc to close.
Round 2
- Slip stitch to the first ch-2 space.
- (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each ch-2 space, ch 1 between clusters.

For Round 3 to 5
- Work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each corner ch-2 space.
- 3 dc in each side space, ch 1 between groups.
- Continue in established granny square pattern.
Round 6
- Use dark purple for this round.

Joining Squares

Border

Granny Square Rounds (2 rows):

- Sc evenly around the entire blanket.
