Make this effortlessly chic Crochet Market Tote Bag, perfect for any outing, whether you're hitting the beach, carrying your gym gear, or picking up fresh produce from the farmers' market, this pattern promises strength and style in one. The beauty of this pattern lies in its simplicity, as the bag is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, starting with a rectangular base and then building the sides with continuous rounds. Plus, it includes a stretch-resistant structure to keep your bag in tip-top shape use after use.

  5. Rounds 2-21: Chain 2 and double crochet in each stitch around, joining with a slip stitch to complete the rounds.
  6. Round 22-27: Alternate between rounds of double treble crochet with chain spaces and rounds of single crochet, creating a patterned section.
  7. Rounds 28-31: Chain 1 and single crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to join the rounds.

  9. Rounds 33-36: Include one single crochet into each chain of the straps, maintaining the stitch count, and join with a slip stitch at the end.
