General Information

- The creator uses a 4.5mm hook and acrylic yarn.
Skirt
Ribbing
- Measure your waist and hips.
- Chain 13 with gray yarn.
- Half double crochet (hdc) in the second chain from the hook and across (12 stitches).
- Chain 1, turn, and hdc in the back loop only. Repeat until the ribbing reaches your waist measurement (slightly smaller for a tight fit).
- Slip stitch the two sides together to close.
Purple Section
- Mark the sides of the ribbing to indicate where increases will begin.
- Attach purple yarn and hdc in each row of the ribbing.
- Increase (2 hdc in one stitch) at each stitch marker.
- Repeat increases every row until the skirt reaches your hip measurement.
- Continue with regular hdc rows until the skirt reaches the desired length.
Circles
- Create two circles (one slightly larger than the other) and sew them together, then sew them onto the skirt.
Top
Panels
- Measure from armpit to armpit, armpit depth, and shoulder to armpit.
- Chain the length of your armpit to armpit measurement with purple yarn.
- Hdc in each chain across. Repeat rows until the panel reaches from your armpit to the desired length.
- Slip stitch across the number of stitches for your armpit depth.
- Continue hdc rows, leaving the same number of stitches unworked at the end.
- Hdc for a few rows to create the neckline.
Straps
- Chain and hdc to create the desired strap width.
- Continue hdc rows until the strap reaches your shoulder to armpit measurement.
- Repeat for the other strap.
Assembly
- Slip stitch the front and back panels together.
Trim
- Add a gray single crochet trim to the bottom of the top.
Collar
- Chain a length that fits over your head with gray yarn, and join to form a circle.
- Double crochet (dc) in each chain around.
- Mark four points for increases.
- Increase at each marked point by doing one dc, chain one, and one dc all in the same stitch.
Repeat the increase rows three times.
- Switch to black yarn and single crochet (sc) one row, increasing as before.
- Switch back to gray and dc three rows, increasing as before.
- Switch to black for a final row of sc with increases.
- Create a gray circle and a slightly smaller green circle and sew the green circle on top of the gray circle.
- Sew the combined circles onto the collar.
Arm Cuffs
- Chain 20 with gray yarn.
- Hdc in each chain (19 stitches), chain 1, turn.
- Hdc in the back loop only until the cuff fits your wrist.
- Create a triangle shape at the top by doing some stitches across and then decreasing on both sides until you reach a tip.
- Attach a small circle to the top of the triangle.
