Materials Needed
- Medium weight cotton yarn
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Creating the Bra Cups
- Make a slip knot and chain 16.
- Skip first 2 chains, half double crochet (HDC) in the 3rd chain from the hook.
- HDC across the rest of the chain.

In the last chain:
- 2 HDC
- Chain 1
- 2 more HDC (to form the cup curve)
- HDC along the opposite side of the foundation chain.
- Chain 2, turn.
- HDC across the row.
In the center chain-one space:
- 2 HDC, chain 1, 2 HDC in same space.
- Repeat this for 6 rows (small), 7-8 rows (medium), or 10-12 rows (large).
- Make a second cup following the same instructions.
Joining the Cups
- From the center chain-one space, count 10 loops on each cup.
- Chain 20 to span the gap between cups.
- Slip stitch to join, chain 1, and cut yarn.
- Attach the two cups at the center by inserting hook into both chain-one spaces and pull through to secure.

Building Below the Cups
- Create a loop, insert hook into the first loop beneath the cups.
- Chain 2, HDC in the next stitch, continue across.
- When you reach the chain, work HDC stitches across it.
- Chain 1 or 2, turn, and continue HDC rows.
- Repeat for 8–10 rows or until desired top length is reached.

Adding Side Details
- Chain 2.
- Work 2 HDCs into the side of each row along the bra edge.
- Repeat for the other side.
Creating Loops for Back Strings
- In the center back, crochet a small section of rows to build loops.
- Chain 1 or 2, turn, repeat rows (number depends on bust size).

To make loops:
- Chain 1, skip 1 stitch, HDC into the next.
- Repeat to form multiple loops.
Making the Strings
- With loops facing you, insert hook and pull yarn through.
- Chain 1 or 2.

In each loop:
- Work 5 HDC.
- Chain 2, turn, and continue with HDC rows.
- Do this for 10–12 rows.
- Switch to looping technique (as shown in video) for extended chain length.
- Continue until string is long enough to tie at the back.
- Repeat on the opposite side.
