- Chain 2 to begin the first row
- Work one double crochet into every chain across the row
X Stitch Pattern
- Chain 3 and turn
- Yarn over twice, insert hook into the next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through two loops
- Yarn over, skip two stitches, insert hook into the third stitch, pull up a loop
