Materials
- Yarn in two colors
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- 3mm yarn for the ribbing
Starting the Sweater (Ribbed Band)
- Chain 9
- Row 1: Chain 1, skip first chain, slip stitch in next 3 chains, single crochet in next 6 chains
- Row 2–56: Chain 1 and turn, 6 single crochets in back loop, 3 slip stitches in back loop
- After 56 rows, chain 1 and join both ends using slip stitches through both loops
Body of the Sweater (Main Pattern)
- Round 1 (Color 1): Chain 2, 2 double crochets in first space, skip one, 2 double crochets in next. Continue around. Slip stitch to close
- Round 2 (Color 2 & Color 1): Chain 1, single crochet, chain 1. Work 1 unfinished double crochet (close with Color 2), then 3 unfinished double crochets (close with Color 1), then 2 unfinished double crochets (close with Color 2). Alternate this sequence and slip stitch to close

Separating the Sleeves
- Divide blocks: 3 for each sleeve, 4 for each front and back panel

Sleeve Cuff (Ribbed Band)
- After 11 rows, close with slip stitch
- Chain 9
- Skip one, slip stitch in next 3, single crochet in next 5
- Attach to sleeve: slip stitch in next 2 stitches
- Turn: 5 single crochets in back loop, 3 slip stitches in back loop
- Chain 1 and turn, 3 slip stitches in back loop, 5 single crochets in back loop
