Starting the Yoke
- Make a slip knot and chain 48
- Skip first 3 chains and place 1 DC in 4th chain
- Work 6 more DC for a total of 7 DC on the first panel
- Chain 1 and place 1 DC in the same stitch to form corner
- Continue increasing at corners and building the yoke evenly to Row 7

Main Body Pattern
- Begin Row 8 to separate the armholes
Row 8
- Chain 1 and turn
- Place 1 HDC in same stitch
- Skip next stitch and work SC, chain 2, SC in following stitch
- Repeat SC, chain 2, SC across front panel
- Join corners with SC to form first armhole
