Round 1: Covering the Hair Elastic

  • Create four chains.
  • Skip one double crochet stitch from the previous round and make a slip stitch into the next double crochet stitch to form a loop.
  • Repeat: four chains, skip one double crochet, and slip stitch into the next double crochet.
  • Continue this pattern around the entire scrunchie until the end of the round.
  • Cut the yarn from Round 3.
  • To finish, make four chains at the end of the round, then slip stitch into the first double crochet stitch of the round.
  • Make another slip stitch in the next stitch and then one chain.
