Materials

  • Green, Pink, and Peach yarn
  • 1.5 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Charging cable

Creating the Vine and Leaves

  • Start with a slip knot and place the charging cable inside the loop
  • Wrap yarn around cable and make a knot
  • Hold extra yarn with the cable and wrap with 15 single crochet stitches (SC)

  • Continue SC along entire cable length
  • After 15 SC, chain 5 (ch 5) to begin a leaf
  • Yarn over and pull through loop 5 times
  • Pull yarn through first two stitches repeatedly until last stitch remains
  • Chain 1 (ch 1) and turn to crochet along the other leaf side
  • Yarn over and pull through loop 5 times again
  • Pull through two stitches at a time until one loop stays on hook
  • Stitch around cable to secure leaf base
  • Chain 20 and repeat the leaf steps
  • Continue chaining 20 and making leaves until you reach the end
