- Create a magic ring, insert your hook, pull a loop through, and make a slip knot
Round 1
- Chain 3 (counts as first dc), make 2 double crochets
- Chain 2
- Repeat (3 dc, ch 2) four times
- Slip stitch to join round
Round 2
- Slip stitch to next chain space
- Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), make 2 dc in same space
- Chain 2, make 3 dc in same space
- Chain 1
- In next chain space make (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)
- Chain 1, repeat corner pattern in each chain space
- End with chain 1 and slip stitch
For Round 3 (Star Points)
- Slip stitch to next chain space
- Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), make 2 dc in same space
- Chain 2, make 3 dc in same space
- Chain 1, single crochet in next chain space
- Chain 1
- In next chain space make (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)
- Continue (ch 1, sc, ch 1, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) around
- End with chain 1, single crochet, slip stitch to join
Finishing
- Pull thread to desired length for hanger and cut yarn
- Fold remaining yarn into pattern to hide it
