Materials Needed
- Size 4 medium weight acrylic yarn (approx. 400 yards)
- Size H (5 mm) crochet hook
- Size G (4 mm) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Blunt needle

Base of the Backpack
Round 1:
- Chain 26
- Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and each chain across (except the last)
- In the last chain, make 5 single crochets
- Continue with single crochet on the opposite side
- In the final chain, make 4 single crochets
- Join with a slip stitch to the first single crochet
Round 2:
- Chain 1
- Single crochet in each stitch
