Crochet Toe Up Socks

Materials
- Four-ply cotton yarn
- 4 mm crochet hook
- 5 mm crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Scissors and tapestry needle
The Toe (4 mm Hook)
- Chain 7
- Round 1: 2 DC in 2nd chain from hook, 1 DC in next 4 chains, 4 DC in last chain, continue on opposite side with 1 DC in next 4 stitches, 2 DC in last stitch, join with SL ST, CH 1
- Round 2: 2 DC in same space, 2 DC in next stitch, 1 DC in next 4 stitches, [2 DC in next stitch] 4 times, 1 DC in next 4 stitches, [2 DC in next stitch] 2 times, join with SL ST, CH 1

The Foot
- Single Crochet Round: 1 SC in each stitch around, join with SL ST
- V-Stitch Pattern: Skip 1 stitch, 1 DC, 1 SC, skip 2 stitches, repeat around.
- Work directly below previous SC in following rows.
- Repeat for 20 rows or desired length before heel

The Heel (Switch to 5 mm Hook)
- Heel Setup: Mark stitches divisible by 3 (example 18 stitches).
- Work 5 rows of SC back and forth across heel stitches
- Turning the Heel: Work SC across middle stitches, join with SL ST into side stitch, turn.
- Repeat until all side stitches are used and cup shape forms

The Cuff/Ankle
- Continue Body: Join work, pick up stitches along heel flap, continue DC/SC pattern in rounds until cuff is desired length
- Final Edging: Work clusters of 5 DC just below previous SC stitch, repeat around cuff edge
