These Easy Children's Cozy Socks are the perfect handmade project to keep little feet warm and comfortable during chilly days. Worked in soft, cozy yarn with simple single crochet stitches, the pattern is easy to follow and beginner-friendly.
Crochet Socks

You can easily customize the size by adjusting the number of increase rounds and foot length, making it suitable for various children’s shoe sizes. Whether you’re crafting a pair for everyday wear or a cozy gift, these crochet socks offer a soft, stretchy, and adorable fit.
Materials
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Soft, cozy sock or blanket yarn
- Scissors and yarn needle
- Stitch marker (optional for spiral rounds)
Notes
- The pattern is worked mostly in spiral rounds using single crochet (sc).
- Adjust the number of increase or straight rounds to change the sock size.

The Toe
- R1: Magic Ring, 6 sc.
- R2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12).
- R3: (1 sc, inc) repeat around (18).
- R4: (2 sc, inc) repeat around (24).
The Foot
- R5–15: Work 1 sc in each stitch around (24).
- Continue until the piece reaches the bend of the foot before the ankle.

The Heel Flap
- R16: Ch 1, turn. Skip the first stitch, work 16 sc in back loop only (BLO). Leave 8 stitches unworked.
- R17–22: Ch 1, turn. Skip first stitch, 16 sc in BLO.

Close the Heel
- Fold the heel flap in half with the wrong side facing out.
- Join both sides using slip stitches (sl st) through the back loops only.

- Fasten off and cut the yarn.
The Ankle and Cuff
- Rejoin yarn at the ankle opening.
- Cuff R1: Work sc evenly around the opening (about 24 stitches).
- Cuff R2–8: 1 sc in each stitch around (same stitch count).
- Finish: Work 1 sl st, fasten off, and weave in ends.
