- Weight 4 acrylic yarn (multiple colors for squares and one for assembly)
- 5.75 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle and scissors
- Make three granny squares, each with 8 rows

- Ch – Chain
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
Making the Granny Square
- Start with a magic ring
- Ch 3 (counts as 1st DC), work 1 DC into ring
- Ch 2, work 3 DC, Ch 2, work 3 DC, Ch 2, work 3 DC, Ch 2

- Sl St to join and tighten the ring
- Sl St into next corner space and change color
- Ch 3 (counts as 1st DC), 1 DC in same space
- Ch 2, 3 DC in same space for corner
- Work 3 DC in each side space and (3 DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) in each corner
- Repeat this pattern for 8 rounds total
- Make 3 granny squares in total

Assembly
- Arrange three squares in a line
- Place first two squares right sides together and whip stitch one edge
- Seam the third square to the second square the same way
- Fold into a triangular shape to form a bag
- Whip stitch the open sides closed on the wrong side
- Weave in all ends and flip the bag right side out

Making and Attaching the Strap
- Attach yarn in the top corner of the bag
- Ch 2 (counts as 1st DC), work 1 DC in next stitch, 2 DC in corner gap, 1 DC in next stitch, 1 DC in last stitch (6 DC total)
- Ch 2, turn, work 1 DC in each stitch across
- Repeat for 17 rows or desired strap length
- Whip stitch the strap to the opposite corner and weave in ends

Optional Bow
- Use a smaller 3.25 mm hook
- Chain 70 stitches and fasten off
- Weave chain through top corner spaces and tie a bow
