Instructions For Base of the Palette:
Start with White Yarn and 2.75 mm hook
- Create a slip knot, then chain 6.
- Slip stitch into the first chain to form a loop.
- Single crochet 12 times into the center of the loop (not into the chains).
- Slip stitch to join to the first single crochet.
Second Round:
- Chain 1 (counts as the first stitch).
- In the next stitch, perform increase by making two single crochets.
- Perform half double crochet increases in the subsequent stitches by yarning over, inserting the hook, yarning over and pulling through all three loops on the hook twice in the same stitch.
