Materials
- Nako Planta Mercerized yarn (color #210, 100g/225m) – 2 skeins
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Getting Started & Initial Chain
- Make 119 chains (for small/medium size; adjust for other sizes).
- Ensure the chain is loose enough to slip over the head.
- Join the last chain to the first with a slip stitch to form a loop.

First Row of Mesh (Cages)
- Chain 5 (3 to rise + 2 for mesh space).
- Skip 1 stitch, treble crochet (tr) into the next.
- Chain 2, skip 1 stitch, tr into the next — repeat around.
- You should have 60 mesh cages.
- Chain 2 and slip stitch into the 3rd chain of the starting chain-5 to close.
Dividing the Yoke and Increasing
- Divide 60 mesh cages: 12 for each shoulder, 18 for front and back.
- Chain 5 to start next row.
- Mesh cages continue as in Row 1 until reaching increase points.
- At each increase corner, create a fan: 2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr in the same space.
Continue in pattern:

- 11 cages (shoulder), fan
- 17 cages (front/back), fan
- Repeat for remaining sections
Close round with ch 2 and slip stitch in 3rd chain.
Continuing Increases in Subsequent Rows
- Chain 5 to begin each row.
- Create mesh cages up to each fan increase point.
- In each fan’s ch-3 space, crochet: 2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr.
- Continue until you have 13 rows or until the desired yoke depth is achieved.

Joining for the Body (No More Increases)
- Stop increasing after 13 rows.
- Fold work to align shoulder increases.
- Continue crocheting mesh cages in the round.
- At armholes, skip the fan section and join with ch 2 and tr into the next side.
- Repeat on both sides for seamless armholes.

Crocheting the Body
- Continue working mesh cages in rounds with no increases.
- Over armhole joins, make mesh cage in ch-2 space.
- Work until desired length is reached (e.g., 43 cm).

Finishing
- End final round with slip stitch.
- Cut yarn and weave in ends.
- The project should use almost two skeins with a bit left over.
