Materials:
- Crochet hook sizes: 4.50 mm and 3.50 mm
- Scissors
- Needle
- Green yarn
- Yellow yarn
- Black yarn
Instructions:

Body of the Flag:
- Start with a slip knot using green yarn.
- Chain 9, then create 8 single crochets (sc), giving you 8 points.
- Continue to work in rounds, creating rows (or rounds) 1 through 18.
- At the end of round 18, turn your work around to start on round 2.

Green Strips:
- For rounds 2 to 18, maintain 8 single crochets across, for a total of 17 rows.
- Work 1 sc in each of the 6 sts, 3 sc in the next st, then 16 sc along the side, 3 sc in the next st, 6 sc across to the other side, and 3 sc in the final st of the round.
- Fasten off, cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for later use.

Yellow Stripes:
- Using a smaller 3.50 mm hook and yellow yarn, make a slip knot.
- Chain 3, then do 2 sc.
- Continue in this manner for more than 16 rounds, 2 sc in each st.
- After finishing 20 rows, fasten off, cutting the yarn and leaving a long tail.

Black Triangles:
- Make a slip knot with black yarn and chain 2.
- Increase in the next st (2 sc in the same st).
- For each subsequent round, continue to increase at each end, working a straight number of sc between the increases.
- Keep repeating this increase pattern until you have a triangle shape with the desired number of st.
- Once you've obtained the triangle size you need, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:
- Place the yellow stripes diagonally across the green body of the flag.
- Sew the stripes onto the flag using the yarn tail, starting from one corner and working your way to the opposite side.
- Next, place the black triangles on each end of the yellow stripes and sew them in place as well.
- Any loose ends or tails can be secured and knotted before being snipped off to neaten up the project.
