Part 1 Crocheting the Main Hexagon

Round 1 Center Ring
- Make a slip knot
- Chain 6
- Slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring
- Chain 3 and work 2 double crochet into the ring
- Chain 2
- Work a total of 6 clusters separated by chain 2
- Slip stitch into the top of the chain 3 to finish the round
Round 2 and Following Rounds
- Turn your work
- Slip stitch into the first chain 2 space
- Chain 3 and work 2 double crochet in the same space
- Work a cluster into the next space with no chain
- Work a cluster, chain 2, cluster in every corner
- Repeat the increase pattern around

Color Rounds
- Work 10 rounds in maroon
- Work 2 rounds in white
- Work 4 rounds in maroon for a total of 16 rounds
Joining to Form the Armhole
- Stop after completing the fourth side of round 16
- Fold the hexagon so the joining sides meet
- Slip stitch into the next space on the back side
- Work a cluster into the next space on the front side

Sleeve Extension and Ribbing
