- Create a magic ring.

- Slip stitch into the first stitch to close the round.
Starburst Points
- Chain 6.
- Work double crochets into the third, second, and first chains from the hook.
- Skip one stitch on the base round.
- In the next stitch, make:
- 1 double crochet
- Chain 3
- 3 double crochets (all in the same stitch).
- Repeat this pattern (skip 1 stitch, dc, ch-3, 3 dc) until you have 12 points.
- Slip stitch to the third chain of the initial chain-6 to close.
