  • Baby yarn (1.5 mm) or Mil cotton (2 mm)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Hair tie or alligator clip
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors

Main Bow Body

Round 1: Magic Circle

  • Make a magic circle
  • Work 6 single crochet (sc) into the circle
  • Pull tight to close

Round 2: Increases

Round 4:

Round 17:

  • Repeat 1 sc, 1 decrease (front loops only) 6 times (12 stitches)

Rounds 18–19:

  • 1 sc in each stitch (12 stitches per round)

Switch to Second Color

Round 20:

  • Change to second color
  • 1 sc in each stitch (12 stitches)

Round 21:

  • 1 sc in each stitch (12 stitches)

For Round 22:

  • Repeat 1 sc, 1 increase 6 times (18 stitches)

Rounds 23–34:

  • 1 sc in each stitch (18 stitches per round)

Round 35:

  • Repeat 1 sc, 1 decrease 6 times (12 stitches)

For Round 36:

  • 1 sc in each stitch (12 stitches)

Round 37:

  • Make 6 decreases (6 stitches)

Finishing Bow Piece:

  • Cut yarn, leave a tail
  • Weave the tail through front loops of final round and pull tight to close

Shaping and Assembling the Bow
