Instructions

Crown of the Hat
Round 1
- Make a magic circle, ch 3 (counts as dc), then work 14 dc into the ring. Join with a slst to the top of the first dc (15 dc total).
Round 2
- Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc + ch1), then (dc, ch1) into each stitch around. Join with a slst to the third chain of beginning ch-4.
For Round 3
- Ch 4, then into each ch1 space: (dc, ch1, dc, ch1) – this creates an increase. Rep to end. Join with slst.

Round 4
- Ch 4, (dc, ch1), then (dc, ch1, dc, ch1) into the next ch1 space to increase. Rep to end. Join with slst.
Round 5
- Ch 4, (dc, ch1) into next 2 ch1 spaces, then (dc, ch1, dc, ch1) to increase. Rep to end. Join with slst.
For Round 6
- Ch 4, (dc, ch1) into next 3 ch1 spaces, then increase with (dc, ch1, dc, ch1). Rep to end. Join with slst.
Round 7
- Ch 4, (dc, ch1) into next 4 ch1 spaces, then increase with (dc, ch1, dc, ch1). Rep to end. Join with slst.
