For Double Crochet Even:

- Work 1 single crochet into each stitch around.
Row 2 of Brim:
- Chain 1 and turn your work.
- Skip the first stitch, 2 single crochets in the next.
- Follow with a pattern of 4 single crochets even, 2 single crochets in the next stitch around the brim.
- Continue with 3 even, and then 2 in the next stitch, following the pattern to create a sloped brim effect.
Finishing Touches:
Reverse Single Crochet Edging:
- Upon completing the brim rows, work a reverse single crochet edging around the hat and brim's edge for a finished look.
Weaving in Ends:
- Use the tapestry needle to securely weave in all loose ends.
