  • 2.2 mm crochet hook
  • Polypropylene yarn
  • Blunt needle for weaving ends

Instructions

The Cups (Make 4 Pieces - 2 Per Cup)

Magic Circle:

  • Begin with a magic circle
  • Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc), then work 12 dc into the circle (13 total)
  • Pull to close and secure the tail

Row 2 (Increase):

  • Chain 3, turn
  • 2 dc in same stitch
  • 1 dc in each of next 6 sts
  • 3 dc in next st
  • 1 dc in each of next 6 sts
  • 2 dc in last st

Rows 3–6:

  • Repeat Row 2, maintaining symmetrical increases

For Rows 7–12:

  • Chain 3, turn
  • 1 dc in each stitch across with no increases

Side Edging:

  • Chain 3, turn to side edge
  • Alternate 1 dc into row ends and between rows along straight side
  • Stop at the end of 6th row

Assembling the Cups

Joining Halves:

  • Align 2 cup pieces with straight edges touching
  • Slip stitch them together along the straight edge

Edging:

  • Chain 2
  • 2 sc between each row around the outer edge
  • 3 sc in corners to round
  • Slip stitch to close

Prepare Bra Cups:

  • Use ready-made bra inserts

  • Work 15 rows of hdc on each side
  • Don’t cut yarn at the end

Skirt Base

  • Chain 2, turn
  • Work hdc across entire bottom (including back panels and cups)
  • Work 9–10 sc across curved cup sections, then hdc

Straight HDC Rows:

  • Work full rows of hdc for 21 rows total or desired length

Top Border and Straps

 

Top Border:

  • Join yarn to top edge
  • Chain 2, hdc across
  • Decrease by skipping first and last stitch in each row
  • After 3 decrease rows, continue without decreasing

Add buttonholes on final rows (chain 1, skip 1 stitch)

Straps:

  • Join yarn at front top corner
  • Chain 2, work 3 hdc across
  • Repeat rows to desired length (approx. 41 rows)
  • Repeat for second strap

Lacing and Button Closure

 

Lacing Cord:

  • Chain 280
  • 2 sc in first few chains, then 1 sc in each
  • 2 sc in final few chains for curl
  • Weave through back spaces

Back Closure:

  • Add button to top of back opening
  • Chain loop opposite the button
  • Add two more small buttons on inside of back panels

  • Join yarn, chain 4 + 2
  • Double treble, chain 2, double treble ("V") in same stitch
  • Skip 1, repeat "V" stitch across

Row 2:

  • Slip stitch to center of first "V", chain 4
  • 2 dtr, ch 2, 3 dtr (shell)
  • Chain 1, skip next "V", 1 dtr in following
  • Chain 5, 1 dtr in next "V"
  • Chain 1, shell in next "V"
  • Repeat pattern

For Row 3:

  • Slip to ch-5 space, chain 4, 7 dtr in same space (8 total)
  • Chain 2, shell in shell, chain 2
  • Repeat: 8 dtr, ch 2, shell, ch 2

Row 4:

  • Slip to shell center, chain 4, shell in shell
  • Chain 2, 7 dtr across next fan
  • Repeat: shell, ch 2, 7 dtr

Row 5:

  • Slip to shell center, chain 4, shell
  • Chain 2, 6 dtr
  • Chain 2, shell
  • Chain 2, 3 dtr in same shell space
  • Repeat pattern

For Row 6:

  • Chain 2, slip to beginning ch 4
  • Slip to shell center, chain 4
  • 5 dtr in fan
  • Shell, chain 2, shell, chain 2, shell
  • Work in continuous rounds

Row 7:

  • Shell, 4 dtr, ch 2, shell
  • Dtr in space between shells, ch 2
  • Shell again

Row 8:

  • Shell, 3 dtr, ch 1
  • "V" stitch in dtr from previous row
  • Ch 1, shell

For Row 9:

  • Shell, 2 dtr, ch 2
  • "V" in "V", ch 2
  • Shell

Edging:

  • Chain 3, puff stitch or 3 dc
  • Slip stitch into next st
  • Repeat for picot border

Second and Third Lace Layers

 

Second Layer:

  • Join yarn several rows above previous lace
  • Repeat lace pattern, but skip 2 stitches between “V”s

Third Layer:

  • Join yarn above second lace
  • Repeat entire lace pattern
  • Do not split shell in Row 5 (no increase)
  • Finish with picot edge

Finishing Touches

 

Back Edging:

  • Sc along back opening
  • Attach main back button and 2 hidden ones inside

Strap Edging:

  • Sc or slip stitch around strap edges
  • Secure straps to back with slip stitches
