These crochet socks are perfect for beginners who want to make something cozy, stylish, and practical. Worked from the cuff down, the pattern uses simple stitches and clear construction steps to help you create a comfortable pair of socks that fit beautifully.

Materials

  • Yarn: Alize Angora Gold (550m/100g)
  • Hook: 3mm crochet hook
  • Size: Fits US 7–8 (EU 38–39)

Cuff/Ribbing

  • Chain 48 stitches and join into a ring with a slip stitch.
  • Crochet two rows of half double crochet in the round.

Ankle/Leg

  • Start the main ankle section with half double crochet stitches.
  • Continue working until you reach your desired leg height.
  • Add a few extra rounds to prepare for the heel.

Heel Flap and Turn

  • Work the heel over 24 stitches (half of the total).
  • In right-side rows, decrease at both the beginning and end.
  • In wrong-side rows, crochet half double crochets evenly.
  • Once the heel is formed, pick up stitches along both sides of the flap.
