This Valentine’s inspired crochet bralette is a fun and flirty project designed to highlight simple shaping with bold color contrast. Built from two custom-fit triangle cups and finished with a lace-up corset back, this top is fully adjustable and easy to personalize.
Crochet Bralette

The stripey effect created by alternating two shades of pink adds a playful handmade look while keeping the stitches beginner-friendly. Materials
- Weight 4 acrylic yarn in two shades of pink
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
The Bra Cups Make 2
- Start with light pink yarn and make a slip knot
- Chain a length that fits from under your bust to your nipple, example uses 16 chains plus 1 turning chain
- Row 1 work 1 single crochet into the second chain from the hook and in every chain across, change to dark pink on the final stitch

- Row 2 chain 1 and turn, single crochet in each stitch until the top center stitch, work 3 single crochet into that top stitch, then single crochet down the other side
- Row 3 single crochet across again, placing 3 single crochet in the top center stitch, change back to light pink at the end of the row
- Continue working two rows in each color, always placing 3 single crochet in the top center stitch of every row
- Stop when the cup reaches your desired coverage and repeat to make a second identical cup

The Straps
- Attach yarn and single crochet up the side of the cup to the top peak
- Chain approximately 200 chains for a medium size or adjust for your body
- Slip stitch back down the entire chain to reinforce the strap
- Single crochet back down the side of the cup to the base
- Repeat for the second cup

Joining And Bottom Panel
- Place cups side by side and join them at the center base using a slip stitch
- Attach yarn to the outer edge of one cup and chain 12 to create the side wing
- Slip stitch back into the cup
- Single crochet across the bottom of both cups
- Chain 12 on the opposite side to match
- Work rows of single crochet across the entire bottom length including side chains
- Follow the same two-row color change pattern used for the cups
- Continue until the bottom panel reaches your preferred length, example uses 13 rows

Side Loops Corset Back
- Attach yarn to the side of the bottom panel and work one row of single crochet
- Work one row of double crochet
- Work one row alternating 1 double crochet, chain 1, skip 1 stitch, then 3 double crochet to create four lacing holes
- Finish with one final row of single crochet worked across all stitches and chain spaces

Final Assembly
- Weave in all loose ends securely
- Lace the long straps from the cup tops through the side holes in a criss cross pattern
- Tie at the back to create an adjustable corset-style closure
