Crochet Daisy Top

Materials
- Milk cotton yarn (200g, 5ply)
- 3.5mm crochet hook (main body)
- 2.5mm hook (for daisy flower)
- Scissors, yarn needle, measuring tape
Front Part
- Make a slip knot and chain 45.
- Row 1: Skip 1 chain, make Half Double Crochet (HDC) across.
- Row 2: Chain 1, Turn Your Work (TYW), make HDC in each stitch.
- Row 3–76: Repeat Row 2.
- Finish off and cut yarn. Front piece measures about 45cm (17 inches).

Back Part
- On the top edge of the front panel, count 15 stitches from both sides and mark.
- Attach yarn at the first marker to begin Section 1.
- Row 1: Chain 1, TYW, make HDC to the marker.
- Row 2: Chain 1, TYW, make HDC in each stitch.
- Row 3–6: Repeat Row 2.
- Row 7 (Lace-up Row): Chain 1, TYW, make 1 SC, Chain 2, skip 2 stitches, 3 SC, repeat pattern across, ending with 2 SC and a slip stitch.

- Repeat the same steps for Section 2 on the opposite side.
Straps
- Mark and attach yarn where the straps will go.
- For shoulder straps: Chain 1, make 1 SC, then continue Single Crochet cord 26 times for a 20cm strap.
- Cut yarn and sew to secure.
- Repeat for the other strap.
- For lace-up tie: Make a Single Crochet cord 140 times (about 121cm long) for the back tie.

Daisy Flower
- Using a 2.5mm hook and white yarn, chain 6 and slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring.
- For each petal: Chain 3, make 2 Double Crochet (DC), Chain 3, and slip stitch into the ring.
- Repeat until you have 5 petals.
- Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Finishing
- Sew daisy flowers to the front of the top.
- Weave the long tie through the lace-up holes on the back panels.
- Secure and weave in all loose ends.
