- 2.5 mm crochet hook
- crochet hook set I use
- yarn scissors

Pattern Instructions:
Back Panel:
- Use DK weight yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook.
- Make a slip knot and chain a multiple of 20 stitches.
- Chain a bit over half of your bust measurement, considering the ripple stitch pattern.
- Chain 3 more, then make a double crochet in the fourth chain.
- Continue working down the chain, making decreases and increases to create a ripple effect.
- Repeat rows of plain double crochets and single crochets until you reach the desired length.
Front Panels:
- For each front panel, chain half the width of the back panel, following the same pattern as the back panel.
- Stop at about seven inches below the back panel's top edge.
- Shape the edges to match the back panel's length.
Joining Panels:
- Align the left edge of the back panel with the left edge of one front panel.
- Slip stitch together along the side, matching double crochet rows with two slip stitches and single crochet rows with one slip stitch.
- Repeat for the other front panel.
- Finish off when both front panels are attached to the back panel.
Shoulder Straps:
- From the top left corner of the back panel, slip stitch up the side of the front panel to the top edge.
- Repeat for the other side.
- The single crochet rows require one slip stitch per row, while the double crochet rows require two slip stitches per row.
- Continue until you reach the top edge of the front panel.
Sleeve (Optional):
- For the sleeve version, continue crocheting above the front panel edge to form the sleeve opening.
- Follow the same pattern for increases, decreases, and stitches to shape the sleeve.
- Finish off to complete the sleeve.
