Materials
- Yarn: Light weight yarn (Category 3/DK or Sport weight)
- Hook: 4.5 mm
- Starting Chain: 94 chains (modified for 23-inch width)
Part 1: Main Body (Back and Front Panels)
- Work Double Crochet stitches between spaces for a unique texture.
- Row 1: Double Crochet in 4th chain from hook, then DC in each chain to the end.
- Row 2 Onward: Chain 2 (does not count as a stitch), DC between each pair of stitches across the row, DC in the last space between stitch and turning chain.

Color Pattern Repeat
- Change colors at the end of a row by pulling new yarn through the last two loops.
Repeat the following 9-row color sequence:

- 4 rows Dark Color
- 2 rows Light Color
- 1 row Dark Color
- 2 rows Light Color
- Continue repeating until desired length (approx. 36.5 inches).
Dividing for Front Panels
- After completing the back, divide into two sections:
- First Front Panel: Work across first 45 stitches until it matches back length.
- Second Front Panel: Skip one center space, attach yarn, and work remaining 45 stitches to same length.

Part 2: Optional Belt and Edging (Braid Stitch)
