  • Repeat from to across to the end, ending with 1 sc in the last chain.

  • Dc6tog across the next six dc.
  • Ch 7.
  • Repeat from to across, ending with a dc3tog in the last three dc.
  • 1 dc in the last stitch.

Row 4:

  • Make 3 dc in the chain space formed by the previous row's dc6tog and ch 7.

In Row 5:

  • Ch 4 and turn (counts as 1 sc + ch 3).
  • Dc6tog over the next six dc.

To continue your project:

  • Repeat Rows 3 through 6 until your project reaches the desired length.

To finish your project:

  • Ch 1 and turn.
  • In the first two stitches, work 1 sc, then 1 hdc (half double crochet) in the next stitch.
  • 1 dc in the next stitch, skip the single crochet from the previous row.
  • Continue the sequence of [1 hdc, 1 dc, skip 1 stitch, 1 dc, 1 hdc] across the row.
  • End with 1 double crochet, 1 half-double crochet, and 2 single crochets.
