Crochet Beach Shorts

Materials
- Crochet hook (J / 6 mm)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Yarn (cotton yarn recommended)
Waistband
- Make a loop and chain 75 stitches
- Bring the chain around to form a loop, ensuring it's not twisted, and slip stitch into the first chain to join
- Chain two
- Double crochet into the top loop of each chain around
- Slip stitch into the top of the chain two to complete the first row
- Chain two and double crochet into the top of each double crochet for 10 rounds
- Slip stitch into the top of the chain two at the end of the 10th row
First Leg
- Chain 12 stitches
- Count 37 double crochets from where you started the chain
- Slip stitch the chain into the 37th double crochet
- Chain two
- Double crochet in each double crochet around
- Double crochet in each of the 12 chains you made
- Slip stitch into the top of the chain two
- Chain two and double crochet in each double crochet for two more rows (total of three rows for the leg)
- Slip stitch and snip off the yarn to tie off the first leg
Second Leg
- Attach the yarn again in the chain two space
- Chain 12 stitches
- Slip stitch this chain into the double crochet right next to where the first leg started
- Chain two

Closing the Crotch Area
