Part 1: Creating the Base (Half Double Crochet Section)
- Make a slip knot
- Insert your hook into the knot
Chain enough to reach around your back (tutorial uses 92 chains)

- Chain one
- Insert hook into the second chain from the hook

- For all following rows, chain one and turn your work
