Round 4:

Red Ribbon (Surface Slip Stitches around Hat Brim):
- Attach red yarn with a slip knot on the hook, then surface slip stitch around one round below the brim to create the ribbon effect. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Bunny:
Round 1:
- With white yarn, make a magic circle, and sc 6 times into it.
Rounds 2:
- Increase in each stitch around (12 stitches).
After Rounds 3-4:
- Sc around (12 stitches).
Round 5:
- 2 sc, then decrease around for a total of 9 stitches.
Create Arms by working in front loops only:
- Slip stitch, ch 4, Slip stitch in the 2nd chain from the hook, slip stitch in the next two chains, and slip stitch into the same stitch on the body to create one arm. Repeat on the opposite side for the second arm.
Round 6-7:
- Continue sc around, including the loops behind the arms to shape the body, decreasing as necessary to shape the bunny's bottom. If safety eyes are to be used, they are typically placed before the piece is closed up.
Ears (Make 2):
- Ch 7, starting from the second chain from the hook, slip stitch back down the chain. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Assembly:
- Sew the ears to the top of the bunny's head.
- Attach safety eyes and embroider the nose with light pink embroidery thread.
- Attach the bunny to the inside of the hat using UHU glue or preferred method.
- Optionally, create a pom tail with white yarn and attach to the bunny.
Finalizing:
- Ensure all parts are securely attached and any embellishments are added as desired.
