Materials
- DK weight yarn in two colors
- 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Sleeve Panel Make 2
- Make a slip knot and chain 50
- Chain 3 and work 1 DC in the 4th chain then 1 DC in the next 2 chains
- Place 2 DC in the next chain
- Work 1 DC in the next 4 chains
- Work 1 DC decrease twice
- Work 1 DC in the next 4 chains
- Work 2 DC in each of the next 2 chains
- Repeat the sequence of 4 DC, 2 decreases, 4 DC, 2 increases until 5 chains remain
- Place 2 DC in the next chain and 1 DC in the last 4 chains
- On the final yarn over of the last DC switch to Color 2
- Chain 3 and repeat the same pattern as Row 2
- Alternate colors every row
- Continue repeating the row sequence until you have 37 rows

Body Panel Make 2
- Make a slip knot and chain 63
- Work the same wavy pattern used in the sleeve panel
- Continue the pattern for 26 rows
- Work the top edge flattening row across the final row only

Top Edge Flattening Row
- Chain 1 and turn
- Place 1 SC in the next 4 stitches
- Work 1 SC in the next 2 stitches
- Work 1 HDC in the next 2 stitches

- Work 1 DC in the next 2 stitches
- Work 1 HTrC in the next 2 stitches
- Work 1 DC in the next 2 stitches
- Work 1 HDC in the next 2 stitches
- Work 1 SC in the next 2 stitches
- Repeat the sequence until 4 stitches remain
- Place 1 SC in each of the last 4 stitches and fasten off
Assembly

- Place both body panels together with the flat top edges touching and the right sides facing in
- Use single crochet to seam across the top leaving space in the center for the neck opening
- Lay the sweater flat with the right side down
- Place the sleeve panel so the flat edge meets the shoulder and the right side faces down
- Match the center of the sleeve edge to the shoulder seam and single crochet to attach the sleeve across the armhole
- Turn the sweater right side out
- Single crochet from the bottom body edge up the side seam and continue down the sleeve to close the full seam
- Repeat on the other side
- Weave in all remaining ends
