Crochet Cardigan

This pattern features a clean extended single crochet texture, simple construction, and customizable length and fit, perfect for everyday layering and seasonal wear.
Materials
- Size 3 DK or lightweight yarn
- 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Back Panel
- Create a slip knot and chain until the length matches your shoulder to shoulder measurement
- Skip the first chain and work extended single crochet across the row
- Chain one, turn, and work extended single crochet in every stitch
- Continue rows until the panel reaches from shoulder to desired length

Front Panels
- Place stitch markers three inches in from each top corner to mark the neckline
- Attach yarn at one corner and work extended single crochet rows up to the stitch marker
- Continue until the front panel matches the back panel length
- Repeat the same steps on the opposite side

Sleeves
- Measure the armhole and place markers along the side edge centered at the shoulder
- Attach yarn at the lower marker and work extended single crochet evenly to the top marker
- Work sleeve rows back and forth
- Decrease every fourth row by skipping the first stitch and the second to last stitch
- Continue until desired sleeve length is reached

Cuffs
- Work one row of double crochet across
