Materials
- Woollen yarn suitable for cold weather
- Crochet hook appropriate for your yarn weight
- Yarn needle and scissors
Initial Setup
- Start with a slip knot and create a Magic Ring or chain a few stitches and slip stitch to form a loop.

The Crown (Increasing Rounds)
- Chain 2 or 3 (counts as the first DC).
- Work 11 DC into the ring.
- Slip stitch to join.
- Chain 2 or 3.
- Work 2 DC in every stitch around.
- Slip stitch to join.
- Chain 2 or 3.

- Work 1 DC in the next stitch, then 2 DC in the following stitch.
- Repeat around and join.
- Chain 2 or 3.
- Work 1 DC in the next 2 stitches, then 2 DC in the following stitch.
- Repeat around and join.

The Body (Working Even)
