Materials Needed
- Alize Cotton Gold yarn (or similar cotton-blend yarn)
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends
- Scissors
Step 1: Create the Body Panels
- Create a slip knot and insert your hook.
- Chain 71
- Add 2 chains (acts as your first double crochet).
- Skip 3 chains, then chain 3.
- Skip a total of 9 chains and double crochet into the 9th chain.
Repeat: Chain 3, skip 3 chains, double crochet in the 4th chain.
Continue this mesh pattern until the end of the row.
- Chain 2 and turn.
- Chain 3, then double crochet into the top of the previous row’s double crochet.
- Continue the pattern to the end of the row.
- Repeat this row until you have 20–25 rows, depending on your desired top length.
- Make a second identical panel for the back.
Step 2: Make the Sleeves
