Materials:

  • Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in your choice of colors. The video uses pink, white, and black.

  • Yarn needle

  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • st: stitch
  • BLO: back loop only

Body:

For Rnd 1:

  • With pink yarn, ch 2 (counts as 1st dc), dc in the same st, ch 2, turn (2 dc).

Rnd 2:

  • hdc in the 1st ch, dc in the same ch, dc in each st around, ch 2, turn (28 dc).

In Rnd 3:

  • dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next st, repeat around, ch 2, turn (46 dc).

Rnd 4:

  • dc in the next st, dc in the next 2 sts, repeat around, ch 2, turn (66 dc).

For Rnd 5:

  • dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next st, repeat around, ch 2, turn (88 dc).

Rnd 6:

  • (hdc, dc) in the next st, (dc, hdc) in the next 2 sts, repeat around, ch 2, turn (88 dc).

For Rnd 7:

In Rnd 4:

  • (sc, inc, sc, sc) in each st around, join to the 1st sc (32 sc).

For Rnd 5:

  • sl st in each st around, join to the 1st sl st.

Bow:

For Rnd 1:

  • With pink yarn, ch 30, join to the 1st ch with a sl st, ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), dc in each st around, join to the 1st dc (30 dc).

In Rnd 2:

  • ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), dc in each st around, join to the 1st dc (30 dc).

Assembly:

  • Attach the tail to the body by sewing it to the back of the body, about ⅓ of the way down from the top.
  • Attach the head to the body by sewing it to the top of the body, making sure the ears are facing out.
  • Attach the bow to the head by sewing it to the front of the head, just below the nose.
  • Weave in any loose ends.
