Materials
- Yarn in yellow, orange, and black
- Crochet hook (size suitable for yarn)
- Stuffing cotton
- Plastic safety eyes
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Body
- Start with a magic ring with 8 sc
- R2: Increase in each stitch (16 sc)

- R3: 1 sc, 1 inc repeat (24 sc)
- R4: 1 inc, 22 sc, 1 inc (26 sc)
- R5-R7: 1 sc in each stitch
- Finish with a slip stitch and cut yarn, leaving last 10 stitches for head

Head
- Start with a magic ring with 7 sc
- R2: Increase in each stitch (14 sc)
- R3-R4: 1 sc in each stitch
- R5: 1 sc, 1 dec repeat 4 times, then 2 sc, slip stitch and cut yarn

Wings
- Magic ring with 5 sc
- Right wing: Slip stitch, ch1, work (1 sc, 1 hdc, ch1, sl st, 1 sc) in first stitch, then 1 sc, 1 inc in next stitch
- Left wing: Magic ring with 5 sc, work (1 sc, 1 hdc, ch1, sl st, 1 sc) in second stitch, then 1 sc, 1 inc in next stitch

Assembly
- Stuff head and body with cotton
- Sew head onto body
- For beak: slip stitch two stitches in third row, crochet 2 sc in next row, sew neatly
