  • Round 8: (1 single crochet, 1 decrease) *6 [12]
  • Round 9: Decrease 6 times [6]

Eyes (5mm):

  • Place between Round 5 and 6, leaving 3 single crochet spaces between them.

Antennae And Legs:

  • Antennae/Legs: 31 chain, skip 1, 10 increase, then do (3 single crochet, 1 increase) *20
  • Next Part: 19 chain, skip 2, 8 double crochet, 1 single crochet, followed by 7 double crochets, then (6 double crochet, 1 increase) *1, followed again by 7 double crochet, 1 single crochet, 7 double crochet, finishing with (5 double crochet, 1 increase) [42]
  • Next Part: 15 chain, skip 2, 6 double crochet, 1 single crochet, 5 double crochet, then (6 double crochet, 1 increase) *1, followed by 5 double crochet, 1 single crochet, 5 double crochet, ending with (5 double crochet, 1 increase) [34]

Bow:

Start with an 11 chain, skip 4, then work the following in sequence: 1 double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet, 1 slip stitch, then repeat in reverse order concluding with chains and slip stitches for the bow's loops.

Hat:

  • Round 1: 6 single crochet in magic ring [6]
