  • 3 mm crochet hook (for trunk)

  • Darning needle or glue

  • Make a magic ring.
  • Work 6 double crochet into the ring.

  • Round 6: 1 dc in next 3, 2 dc in next around (BLO). Total: 30 dc.
  • Round 7: 1 dc in next 4, 2 dc in next around (BLO). Total: 36 dc.
  • Round 8: 1 dc in next 5, 2 dc in next around (BLO). Total: 42 dc.

Making the Leaves of the Tree

  • Work into front loops left from previous rounds.
