Decrease for the Top of the Tree:
For Round 12:
- To do the invisible decrease, insert the hook from the front into the front loop of the next two stitches, yarn over and pull through both loops (now you have two loops on your hook), yarn under and pull through both loops on the hook. Followed by three single crochets, repeat this sequence six times (total of 24 stitches).
Round 13:
- Make two single crochets followed by a decrease, repeat this sequence six times (total of 18 stitches).
Round 14:
- Working in the front loop only, make an increase followed by two single crochets, repeat this sequence six times (total of 24 stitches).
Finishing the Tree:
Following Rounds:
- Continue as per the written pattern described in the video until the tree is the desired size. Fill with polyester fiber until it's fully filled before closing off the hole.
Decorating the Tree:
Pom Pom:
- Use yellow yarn to create a pom-pom for the top of the tree. Wrap yarn around your fingers, tie the center tightly, trim to shape, and attach it to the top of the tree.
Decoration:
- Use different colored yarn to create dots on the tree, adding a decorative touch. You can also sew on eyes and tie a bow to give the tree personality.
