Materials:

  • Pink, white, red, and green yarn
  • Crochet hook (size not specified in video)
  • Yarn needle
  • Marker
  • Stuffing

Abbreviations:

  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • hdc: half double crochet

Pattern:

First Row:

  • Cut pink yarn and fasten it off with a dead knot.
  • Chain 6.

Row 2:

  • Make a slip knot.

For Row 3:

Insert hook in the first chain from the previous row and make a single crochet (sc).

  • Chain 2 (this counts as the first half double crochet).
  • Insert hook in the next chain and make a half double crochet (hdc).
  • Repeat the last step until you have 5 hdc in the row.

Row 5:

  • Skip the next stitch.
  • Make 2 sc in the next stitch.
  • Repeat the last 2 steps until you reach the end of the row.
  • Chain 2 and turn.
  • Repeat rows 4 and 5 until your bauble is the desired size.
  • Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.

Second Row:

  • Cut white yarn and fasten it off with a dead knot.
  • Chain 6.
  • Repeat steps 2-5 from the first row, using white yarn.

Third Row:

Fifth Row:

  • Cut pink yarn and fasten it off with a dead knot.

  • Repeat steps 2-5 from the first row, using pink yarn.

Sixth Row:

  • Cut white yarn and fasten it off with a dead knot.
  • Chain 6.
  • Repeat steps 2-5 from the first row, using white yarn.

Seventh Row:

Stuffing:
