Materials Needed:

  • Red colored yarn (for the glove)
  • White colored yarn (for the cuff)
  • Crochet hook
  • Magic ring technique
  • Basic crochet skills (slip stitch, single crochet, increase, and decrease)

Pattern Overview:

Starting with Red Yarn:

  • Make a magic ring.

In Row 1:

  • 6 single crochets (sc) in the magic ring, slip stitch to join.

Row 2:

  • [2 sc, 1 increase] repeat twice (total of 8 stitches), slip stitch to join.

Row 3:

  • 1 sc in each stitch around (total of 8 sc).

Making the Glove:

For Row 1:

  • 8 sc in a magic ring, slip stitch to join.

Row 2:

  • 8 sc increase (16 sc total), slip stitch to join.

Row 3 to Row 6:

  • 1 sc in each stitch around (total of 16 sc), slip stitch to join after Row 6.

Shaping the Glove:

Row 7:

  • 7 sc, 1 decrease, attach finger with 6 sc around, including 1 decrease within these 6 sc, slip stitch to join.

Row 8:

  • 6 sc, 1 decrease, 9 sc, 1 decrease, last 3 sc, slip stitch to join.

In Row 9:

  • 14 sc, 2 decreases, last 2 sc, slip stitch to join.

Row 10:

  • 14 sc, 1 decrease, last 2 sc, slip stitch to join.

Switch to White Yarn for Cuff:

Row 11 to Row 15:

  • 1 sc in each stitch around (total of 17 sc), slip stitch to join after Row 15.

Finishing Touches:

  • Cut the yarn and hide the ends properly.
  • Turn the glove inside out.
  • Optionally, decorate with glue-on snowflakes and attach a keychain if desired.
