Cute Crochet Bear Keychain Amigurumi Pattern

Start a fun and adorable project, why not try making a cute crochet bear keychain? It's a simple activity that can add a touch of charm to your keys or even serve as a sweet gift for someone special.

Materials Needed:

  • Yarn
  • Crochet hook
  • Stuffing material
  • Yarn needle
  • Keychain ring

Pattern Instructions:

Magic Ring:

Round 1:

  • Start with a magic ring. Crochet 6 single crochet stitches into the ring. (6 stitches)

Round 2:

  • Crochet 2 single crochet stitches into each stitch around. (12 stitches)

For Row 3:

  • Crochet 1 single crochet into the first stitch, then 2 single crochet stitches into the next stitch; repeat from * to * around. (18 stitches)

Row 4:

 

  • Single crochet in the first stitch, single crochet in the second stitch, single crochet in the third stitch; repeat from * to * around. (You will have 24 stitches but the video text does not align this number. Please adjust accordingly. )

Row 5:

  • Single crochet in each stitch around. (24 stitches)

For Rows 6-7:

  • Single crochet in each stitch around, maintaining 30 stitches.

Row 8:

  • Single crochet in the first four stitches, then do two single crochet in the fifth stitch; repeat from * to * around until you have 30 stitches.

Row 9:

  • Single crochet in the first three stitches, then decrease by crocheting the next two stitches together; repeat from * to * around. (24 stitches)

In Row 10:

  • Single crochet in each stitch around. (24 stitches)

Row 11:

  • Single crochet in the first stitch, then decrease by crocheting the next two stitches together, single crochet in the fourth stitch; repeat from * to * around to reduce to 18 stitches.

Row 12:

  • Single crochet in the first stitch, then 1 single crochet in each of the next two stitches; repeat around. (12 stitches)

For Row 13:

  • Decrease by crocheting two stitches together across the entire round. (6 stitches)

Finishing:

  • Close off the body, stuff it with the stuffing material, and then weave in the ends securely.

Ears (Make 2):

  • Start with a magic ring. In the ring, work 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet. Then, sew the ears to the head at the desired position.

Keychain Loop:

  • Crochet 45 chains. If you prefer a longer loop, crochet more chains. Attach the chain to the top of the bear's head using a slip stitch. Cut the yarn and use a needle to cleanly hide the thread.
