Materials
- Double knitting yarn

Sizing
- Small: 136 chains (approx. 80 cm or 31.5 inches)
- Medium: 142 chains (approx. 86 cm or 34 inches)
- Large: 148 chains (approx. 92 cm or 36 inches)
Foundation Chain
- Start with a slip knot and chain the required number of stitches based on your size.
- For Medium: 142 chains (86 cm or 34 inches)
- For Small: 136 chains (80 cm or 31.5 inches)
- For Large: 148 chains (92 cm or 36 inches)
Row 1: Double Crochet
- Turn the chain to the back.
- Skip the first three chains and make a double crochet into the fourth chain.
- Continue making one double crochet in each chain across the row.
Row 2: Half Double Crochet
- Chain two and turn your work.
- Skip the next double crochet and make one half double crochet into the next stitch.
- Go back and make one half double crochet into the skipped stitch.
- Repeat this pattern across the row.
For Row 3: Double Crochet (Back Loop Only)
- Chain three and turn your work.

- Small: 17 rows
- Medium: 21 rows

Creating the Neck Opening
- Mark the stitches for the neck opening. For medium, mark 33 double crochets on each side for the shoulder/sleeve area, leaving 74 stitches for the neck opening.
- Continue the pattern (Row 2) up to the first stitch marker.
- Chain 74 stitches for the neck opening.
- Join to the next stitch marker and continue the pattern (Row 2) to the end of the row.
- In the next row (Row 3), work one double crochet in each stitch, including each of the 74 chains for the neck.
