- Flower rod (16 inches x 0.08 inches / 40cm x 2mm)
- Iron wire (6 inches x 0.02 inches / 15cm x 0.4mm)
- Darning needle
- Scissors
- Hot melt adhesive
- Stitch marker
- Polyester fiberfill

- ch – Chain

- sc – Single Crochet
- dc – Double Crochet

Flower Center (Make 2)

Start with a magic ring.
- R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
- R2: Inc in each st (12)
- R3: [sc, inc] × 6 (18)
- R4: [sc, inc, sc] × 6 (24)
- R5: sc in each st (24)
Fasten off invisibly and weave in the ends.
Petals
- Join yellow yarn into both loops of one flower center with a sl st.
Repeat 12 times:
- ch 2
- (dc, trc, p, trc, dc) in next st
- ch 2, sl st in next st

Start stuffing the center when you're over ¾ done. Continue working and fasten off. Weave in ends.
Flower Sepal
Start with a magic ring.
- R1: 6 sc into the magic ring, sl st, ch 1
- R2–R3: 6 sc in each round, sl st, ch 1
- R4: (2 sc in next st) × 6, sl st, ch 1
- R5: (1 sc, 2 sc in next st) × 6, sl st, ch 1
- R6: (1 sc, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc) × 6, sl st, ch 1

Leaves
- With green yarn, leave a yarn tail and ch 8

From second chain from hook:
- sl st, sc, hdc, dc, dc, dc inc
- 4 dc in last ch
- Work down other side:
- dc inc, dc, dc, hdc, sc, sl st
- Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Melon Seed Detail (Texture Embellishment)
- Go back to R5 (front loops of stamen only).
- R5: (ch 3, sl st at base of ch, sk 1, sl st into next st) repeat across
- R6–R8: Repeat R5
- Mark the stitch, ch 1, cut, and leave a tail.

Assembly
- Bend one end of the flower rod and insert into the center of the sepals.
- Repeat for two flower stems.
- Secure using hot melt adhesive.
