Starting Pattern
Front Panel:
- Make a slip knot and chain loosely according to your desired size.
- Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and continue single crocheting across.
- Chain 1, turn your work and single crochet in each stitch across.
- Repeat the previous row until the front panel reaches the desired length.
Back Panel:
- Repeat the same process as the front panel with slightly more stitches on each row to account for the back panel size.
Sleeves (Make 2):
- Create two sleeves using the same method as for the front and back panels but on a smaller scale to fit the arm size.
Joining:
- Align the front and back panels with the right sides facing down.
- Seam the shoulders together using a yarn needle or crochet hook.
- Lay the work flat and attach the sleeves evenly on each side of the shoulder seams.
Side Split:
- Measure and mark the side split on both sides of the jumper.
- Seam from the wrist up to the armpit and then down to the marked stitch, leaving space for the side split.
Finishing:
- Weave in any loose ends and turn the work right side out.
- Your crochet mohair sweater is now complete.
