Crochet Puff Stitch Sweater

Materials
- Yarn: Ivories Super Saver (200g milk fiber + acrylic), approx. 5 skeins
- Hooks: 3.5 mm for body, 3 mm for ribbing
- Tape measure and scissors
- Body panel measures 14 inches wide, 41 rows high
Body Panels (Make 2)
- Make slip knot and chain 80 stitches
- Row 1 SC into second chain and across
- Row 2 Ch1 turn, SC in first stitch, make puff stitch in next stitch, ch1 skip one stitch
- Repeat puff and ch1 skipping one stitch to last 2 stitches, SC in last stitch
- Row 3 Ch1 turn, SC in first stitch, work puff stitches into ch1 spaces, ch1 skip next puff
- Repeat until 41 total rows are complete
Joining Panels
- Place both panels together right sides facing in
- Count 23 stitches from shoulder edge and mark
- Seam shoulders using SC from edge to marker
- Count 14 rows from bottom on sides and mark for armholes
- Seam sides up to marker using SC, repeat other side

Sleeves (Make 2)
- Chain 58 stitches
- Row 1 SC across starting second chain
- Row 2 follow puff stitch pattern same as body
- Continue puff rows for 42 rows do not cut yarn

Cuff Ribbing
- Switch to 3 mm hook
- Chain 15 then SC across chain
- Attach ribbing to sleeve edge with slip stitch in next 3 sleeve stitches
- Work BLSC back across ribbing
- Repeat alternating join and BLSC rows until entire sleeve edge is ribbed
- Finish with SC row and cut yarn
Attach Sleeves
- Attach yarn to armhole and work SC evenly around (approx. 57 SC)
- Place sleeve and body wrong sides together, join using SC around opening
- Repeat for other sleeve

Seaming Sleeves + Body
- Fold sleeve wrong side out, seam underarm using SC
- Continue SC down side of body until reaching cuff
- Seam cuff by working through back loop on one side and both loops on other

Neckline Ribbing
- Work around neckline to create 74 stitches total
- Using 3 mm hook chain 4
- Work BLSC down chain
- Slip stitch twice along neckline edge
- Turn work and BLSC back up ribbing
- Repeat until 74 rows complete
- Join ribbing ends with SC and weave in all ends
